Machali (T-16) is the queen of Ranthambore, and her name comes from his habit of living in the lake. “Lady of the Lake” was a beautiful royal tigress who left us on 18 August 2016. She is termed the most photographed tigress in the world, Machali was very beautiful enough but also a very powerful tigress. Lakes and Chhatris (semi-open, elevated, dome-shaped pavilions) were under her control, anyone can easily figure out Machali’s dominance over Ranthambore National Park.
Machali earned her reputation through many notable encounters. Her most famous battle was against a 14-foot-long crocodile where Machali achieved victorious after a fierce struggle. The locals captured This epic fight on camera, making Machali a symbol of resilience and bravery in the Ranthambore National Park.
